Who is responsible for your information?
Dragon Cleaning Services Ltd is responsible for the customer information described here. Contact info@dragoncleaningservices.co.uk or call 07415 270 859 for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.
Information you give us
We collect your name, email address, telephone number, address and postcode, property type, number of bedrooms, conservatory option, cleaning frequency and any notes you submit. Enquiries include your selected service and message. Please only include information needed to arrange the work; do not send bank details, passwords or sensitive personal information in a message.
Why we use it
We use these details to check coverage, calculate quotes, answer enquiries, arrange and deliver cleaning, contact you about your service and handle payments or complaints. We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract and performing our contract. Our legitimate interests support keeping appropriate customer correspondence, preventing abuse and resolving disputes. Where records are required for tax or other legal duties, we rely on those legal obligations.
Postcode checks and website security
A postcode check compares your postcode with our coverage rules; it does not make a booking. The booking system temporarily counts requests using a coded identifier derived from your IP address to help prevent misuse. Our hosting and security services may also process technical connection information, including IP addresses and request logs, to operate and protect the website.
Booking records and enquiries
Submitted booking requests are stored in the website booking system and emailed to info@dragoncleaningservices.co.uk. Contact enquiries are delivered by email. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to respond or support the service. A booking request is reviewed by the team before a visit is confirmed; the postcode checker does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Payments through GoCardless
Direct Debit registration takes place on GoCardless, outside our booking form. GoCardless collects the bank and personal details needed to set up and manage your mandate under its own privacy notice. Our website quote form does not collect bank account or payment card details. Opening the payment link does not tell this website whether your mandate has been completed.
Who receives information
Relevant information is processed by our website hosting, email and IT providers and, for payment administration, GoCardless. Information may also be provided to professional advisers or authorities where necessary for a legal obligation or claim. We do not sell your personal information. Third-party websites you choose to visit, including Facebook and GoCardless, have their own privacy notices.
How long information is kept
We assess retention according to whether an enquiry is still active, whether you are an ongoing customer, any outstanding payments or complaints, and applicable accounting or legal requirements. Website booking records remain until deleted by an administrator or removed under the configured retention setting; deleting a website record does not also delete its email copy. Contact us to ask about the records held for your particular enquiry or service.
Cookies, fonts and external services
The supplied quote form does not use advertising cookies or save form details in browser local storage. WordPress can use essential cookies for signed-in users. The website loads its Manrope typeface from Google Fonts, which receives technical connection information when the font is requested. Additional services enabled by the website operator may have their own cookie requirements. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies can affect functionality.
International processing
External providers may process information outside the UK. Their privacy information explains their locations and transfer arrangements. Contact us for details of the providers used for your information and any applicable UK adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have legal exceptions; we will explain any reason we cannot fulfil a request. Contact us using the details above. We may ask for information to confirm your identity.
Complaints and changes
Please tell us if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113. We update this notice when our services or data handling change. Last updated: 8 October 2026.
